ABOUT

 La Délicatesse is a restaurant that celebrates French haute cuisine, blending tradition and innovation in every exquisite detail. This personal project was entirely conceived and developed by me, from the visual identity to the culinary concept, with a remarkable challenge: to create everything from the ground up for a restaurant that embodies sophistication, artistry, and sustainability.

The visual identity of La Délicatesse draws inspiration from Art Nouveau, an artistic movement that cherishes organic forms, fluidity, and elegance. Every graphic and aesthetic element was meticulously crafted to be distinctive, expressing my passion for design and art in perfect harmony with the restaurant’s gastronomic philosophy.

At its heart, La Délicatesse offers a seasonal tasting menu created with fresh, carefully sourced ingredients that honour their origin and story. Sustainability lies at the core of the restaurant’s ethos, with practices that minimise waste and prioritise organic, responsibly produced ingredients. Close collaboration with local suppliers further reinforces this commitment to environmental responsibility.

Bringing this project to life was both a demanding and profoundly fulfilling creative journey.  La Délicatesse is more than a restaurant, it is a sensory experience where gastronomy, design, and art converge to transport each guest into a world of flavour, refinement, and authenticity.

CHALLENGE

The main challenge was to create a complete restaurant concept from scratch, one that could unite the sophistication of French haute cuisine with the organic elegance of Art Nouveau and a strong commitment to sustainability. The goal was to design not only a visual identity, but a full sensory experience that feels both timeless and meaningful.
